The Sri Chinmoy Centre of Vancouver was privileged to present the 
Sri Chinmoy always encouraged physical fitness as an integral part of spiritual development. A decathlon champion in his youth, Sri Chinmoy himself was an enthusiastic runner, tennis player and weightlifter in his adult life.
The
Prasannata Runkel has been a member of the Sri Chinmoy Centre in Vancouver since it was first established in 1976. A full-time Montessori teacher, Prasannata also finds time to organise many of the Centre's activities.
Sulabha Wisniewski has been a member of the Sri Chinmoy Centre since 1982. He is an accomplished runner who has competed in numerous marathons and ultra-marathons and participated in several coast to coast Peace Run torch relay events.
Nripatri Rupp, originally from the Sri Chinmoy Centre in Winnipeg, has studied meditation with Sri Chinmoy for the past 11 years. An excellent public speaker, Nripatri's lighthearted and knowledgeable talks on meditation have entertained and inspired seekers for many years.
